Taydan's 1st bottle!

LaLayn was helping me give him his first
bottle. He wasnt really sure about it.

Taydan is now seven months old and we no longer breast feed. He really struggled to gain any weight, so for a few months we did half and half. Then we went to total bottle feeding, he has been gaining weight very steadly since.
Taydan's first two Baths at home

Taydan didnt like anything about baths, until like
two months ago and now he kicks and wiggles
and laughs the entire time.
Hello
I know it has been forever since my last post. Like 6 months, so im going to be getting everyone caught up on what we have been doing. Life has been great and so busy, but fun. Its going to take me a few days to get it all caught up but then again its been 6 months.

He looks so mad but all he wanted was a paci, he actually

really loved the blanket cause its so warm.

We only had to do about two days of treatment and he was

just fine. The only thing that sucked

was we had to take him in every day to test his levels.

Taydan Fisher

Born: March 4, 2010

Weight: 7 pounds 2 ounces

Length: 20 inches

Ok so Taydan's labor and birth didnt quite go as I planned. Do to James work schedule and the stress it was putting on me, we decided that getting induced was probley the way we were going to handle it this time. So February 25, 2010 we scheduled with the midwives, but on the 24 we had our appointment to see if anything was going on labor wise. I was dialated more and thinned more but baby was sittin so high they could move his head back and forth. The midwives told us they didnt feel comfortable starting us cause the baby could have problems. So we said that was fine and decided to just wait and see what baby was going to do. After all his safety is our number one concern.

Well 5 more days went by and we were quite buisy running around. We went back to the doctor on March 1, 2010 to see if anything had changed. It did the baby had dropped, not fully engaged but enough they decided we could go ahead, so the midwives called and got us on the schedule. Which was my due date anyways.

So the morning of March 4, 2010. We had to be to the hospital at 7:00 am which wasnt to bad. We got up, picked up my dad and headed to my Grandma Bowman's house. My dad watched LaLayn there cause its just down the hill from the hospital. We wanted LaLayn there as quickly as possible to joint us in bonding with with our new little baby. Well we dropped Dad and LaLayn off at Grandmas and headed to the hospital. We got up there and they took us to our room. I was checked again and thinned more and was having very light contractins of my own. But they said they still had to start the pitocin or I could be in labor that way for weeks. 9:00 am they started it really slowly and it wasnt bad. Actually I was rather bored. At noon everyone was hungry including myself so I sent James and Cydnee down to the cafeteria to get us lunch. I made James get me mashed potatos and gravy. They were so good I gobbled it down. Thirty minutes later my midwife came in to see if we were making any progress and was thinking about breaking my water. But my water broke and she said she could feel something funny, then she said it was a hand and that he had grabbed her finger. It was amazing, then in a split second his heart rate dropped and it was like a mad house in the room. The doctor that works with the midwives came in and check me they had me try every position you can think of and nothing helped they even tryed pushing his hand back up but he just pushed back. They then informed us it would be to dangerous to continue, and that I needed an emergengy C-section. So from the time my widwive came in to the time they wheeled me out to the O.R. was like 10 to 15 mins. Then the next thing I remember was waking up in recovery. Taydan was born at 2:28 pm He was 7 pounds and 2 ounces which makes him two pounds lighter then LaLayn.

The whole experience was totally not what I was expecting but I guess thats why they say labor is unpredictable. First things started so slowly, then they were going so fast it was like lightning. Just an image in your mind. In the long run im glad it happened the way it did because if my water had broke when my midwife wasnt there the baby could have been in lots more trouble. He turned out beautiful and perfect in every way.

I had him on thursday and was able to go home on sunday. The recovery has been pretty quick so far. Everyday im feeling so much better, im also able to do more things. Like touch the ground. ;-D

Thanks everyone who helped us get Taydan here and helped us with LaLayn

We love you all!!

OK I will let everyone in on our news!
Thursday I am being induced, due to James work schedule being so weird and crazy lately. They have been sending him way out of town. Which makes me crazy and worried all the time. So James and I decided it would just be better to get the baby here, so we dont have to worry about him missing the delivery. James will be able to get back to work and be able to go were they need him. We will also be able to move on and start another adventure in our lives. I will post as soon as I can and let everyone know how things go.
WISH ME LUCK!!!
